Hen Parties

Are you planning a hen night and want to do something different and perhaps out of the ordinary than your usual night out? Well after a bit of research I have devised a list of 10 alternatives that you could do for a Hen night that will have you jumping for joy.

1.Spa

Why not indulge in some sweet pampering on a hen do? There are always package deals available for groups so you can be sure that you are getting the best deal. You can make a big weekend of it by staying over night in the hotel and having breakfast and dinner. This is by far the most relaxing thing you can do so you feel rejuvenated before the big day.

2. Amusement Park

There is always a place that does a package or discount for bigger groups, it's like it was designed for a hen or stag party. The good thing about amusement parks is that they are usually open during most parts of the year and there is ALWAYS something to do there. You could even go the extra mile and make t-shirts (make them child friendly as families will be there). It will be sure to wear you out and leave you to have a good nights rest.

3. Glamping

If you haven't been camping before then obviously the time to do it would be for your hen party!! This is camping with a twist - "glamorous camping" - hence glamping. This is more of a more comfortable and practical way of camping in a more luxurious way. You can stay in big canapes that feature beds and lights etc which makes the experience a lot more comfortable and exciting.

4. Holiday

It is always nice when you get a chance to go away on holiday so why not grab your family and friends and go on a nice weekend away in Europe? It's close and you can always find a cheap flight with a charter airline. You have so many different choice destinations from whether it's a beach resort or a main city to go sight-seeing but be rest assured that you will find something that meets your needs.

5. DIY

Why not try and do something creative? There are so many DIY activities that will be able to choose from so I'm sure that you can find something to meet everyone's needs. You can choose activities such as pottery making class, painting and many more. Just make sure you don't wear your nicest dress to the ocassion!

6. Vineyard Tour

A chance to drink without getting drunk - unless you're a light weight like me!? A more sophisticated activity that can be accompanied with grapes, cheese and bread. It would be best to do something like this during the spring/summer time so you get the chance to actually walk around in the vineyard and the finish off drinking in the sunshine. Just make sure you have a designated driver or booked a taxi home.

7. SLUMBER PARTY

Who ever said that slumber parties were just for children? I don't think I would/have ever turn down the opportunity to stay in my pjs all day/night and stuff my face with snacks, drinks and pizza. It can even be turned into a movie night so you can grab some pop corn and a couple bottles of wine and just relax. You don't even have to limit yourself to doing it in someone's house you could try a hotel (but be careful of noise issues) or even rent a cottage that might even have a jacuzzi!

8. WELLNESS RETREAT

This is similar to a spa however there are usually a lot more activites to do and usually out in the open fresh air. You can do activities such as yoga, jogging and meditation while following a strict detox diet. You should finish the programme feeling a lot more relaxed and healthier. You may even continue the lifestyle after you have left.

9. FESTIVAL

It doesn't have to be a music festival either! There is a snow festival in china in january, The holi festival in which coloured powder is thrown on eachother and the different carnivals in the caribbean. Obviously some of these places and countries will be hard to travel and especially if you only have a short time to do everything in but most of these festivals do happen in your local area or a town near you soyou will be sure to find something that is near to you for you to enjoy.

10. LESSONS

Have you ever wanted to learn something new? You can experience driving in a racing car, learn a new language, an art or cooking class? The choices are endless and if you enjoyed the first lesson enough you could even take it further by continuing it as a new hobby and mastering a new skill.

This is just a short list of just some of the numerous amount of ideas that you can do. Obviously if you need any help planning you know where I am :)

Enjoy!
