Kickstart Smoothie
I have been researching and making loads of different smoothies lately and some of them have been reay nice so I thought why not share some of them with you so that you can try them for yourselves. This first recipe is for what I call the Kickstart Smoothie as it's one that I will sometimes have in the morning to give me that well needed burst of energy!
Once again you can always substitute some fruit/veg for other things that you think will taste better for yourself.

INGREDIENTS
Makes: 1 smoothie
- Soya Milk (enough for the fruit to blend smoothly)
[More or less depending on consistancy to suit you]
- Frozen and fresh blueberries
[handfu]
- A slice of pineapple
- One Kiwi
-One Banana
- Cucumber
[A few slices chopped up]
- A handful of Kale
- Alpro yoghurt (vanilla)
[A large spoonful]
- Fruit of choice to decorate
[I used kale and the fresh blueberries]

METHOD
1. Peel and chope the banana, kiwi, pineapple and cucumber and place in blender along with frozen blueberries and kale and a little ice if needed.
2. Add the yoghurt and soya milk with the ingredients and then together until smooth. You may need to stop and shake and stir and some of the fruit gets stuck together and won't blend.
3. Pour mixture into your favourite glass (or leave in blender cup if small enough) garnish with kale and fruit and drink to begin your kickstart!

Enjoy!
